DynaComm IIis the
Windows based power supply control software exclusively designed for Dynatronix Pro Series power supplies.
DynaComm
II consists of an Operator Interface for parameter
entry and display and a Communications Module to control
and monitor the Dynatronix power supplies. These applications
utilize a Windows Socket connection to allow for serial
or Ethernet communication
with the TCP/IP communications protocol. This communications
structure allows the user to install DynaComm II on
a single computer and control a Dynatronix power supply
from just about anywhere in the world.

eight channelDynatronix programmable power supply.
More than one Operator Interface can
be connected to a single Communications Module or more than
one Communications Module can be used by a single Operator
Interface. This allows for easy monitoring of plating process
from anywhere in your plant. Using a Dynatronix, Inc. power
supply with the Ethernet option installed, you can simply
use the Internet browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.)
on your computer to monitor those power supplies from anywhere
in the world.
DynaComm II provides many features
including an Active/X control for seamless integration into
existing automated plating lines. Future customizations
to the DynaComm II, system may include temperature
control, solution flow, pH, auxiliary totalizers, etc.
Having such features as recipe
creation, storage and control, ampere and real time cycle
control, error/tolerance flags, data logging and the ability
to control up to 15 power supplies from one location, DynaComm
II is truly one of the most powerful power supply
control tools on the market. Whether it is with the click
of a mouse or the tip of your finger on a touch screen,
DynaComm II will add the "Finishing Touch"
to your electroplating process.
DynaComm II consists
of an Operator Interface (OI) for parameter entry and display
and a Communications Module (CM) to control and monitor
the rectifiers. These two applications utilize a Windows
socket connection to interchange data using the TCP/IP protocol.
This two-part design allows DynaComm II to be installed
on a single computer for a stand-alone application or be
installed on separate computers where the operator and rectifier's
positions can be separated by feet or miles.
The dual application design also permits
any application program that will support TCP/IP protocol
to be connected to the Communications Module. Dynatronix,
Inc. can create custom additions to the Operator Interface
to control and monitor other plating line functions such
as temperature, pH, etc.
More
than one Operator Interface can be connected to a Communications
Module. This configuration permits multiple monitoring
or monitoring and control locations for supervisor or
operations requirements.
DynaComm II provides data logging
as a custom feature with its software. When enabled,
this function automatically stores data accumulated during
the plating operation. This data can later be downloaded
to popular electronic spreadsheets for future analysis.
This provides users with a written record to verify rectifier
performance for all parts and batch runs against the specifications
and tolerances required.
Minimum system requirements for
DynaComm II include:
- 15" SVGA monitor with a resolution of 800 x 600
