Dynatronix Today

Dynatronix is the world's leading supplier of Pulse Power Supplies and has been manufacturing and marketing Pulse and DC power supplies for the world-wide metal finishing industry since 1971. The company offers an extensive line of standard and custom power supplies - pulse, pulse reverse, dc, single output, multi-output, manual and computer controlled. For over 35 years, Dynatronix has been providing state-of-the-art equipment to the electroplating, electroforming, electropolishing, etching and general metal finishing markets.

Operating out of a 15,000 square foot building in Amery, Dynatronix employs approximately 54 people in engineering, production, sales, customer support and quality control. The vast experience and knowledge of the sales, engineering and production & technical people are an important resource for customer support and satisfaction. 

Dynatronix achieved ISO9001-2000 certification in 1999 and is proud to have maintained that certification to the present day. Our commitment to quality, customer service and on-going product development and improvement are second to none. New products are continually being developed to meet the ever-changing requirements of the metal finishing market today.

Our History

Chronology of Dynatronix, Inc.

• 1971 - 1978 - Nova Tran Corporation
  The company began operations in April, 1971 as the Equipment Division of Nova Tran Corporation (NTC), Clear Lake, Wisconsin.
  
  
• 1979 - 1985 - Dynatronix, Inc.
  In January, 1979, the division was purchased by 2 NTC employee-shareholders, incorporated as Dynatronix and relocated to Amery, Wisconsin.
  
  
• 1985 - 1994 - Kraft Dynatronix, Inc.
  In October, 1985, Dynatronix sold a minority interest to Kraftelektronik AB, Surte, Sweden, and changed the name to Kraft Dynatronix, Inc.
  
  
• 1994 - present - Dynatronix, Inc.
  In October, 1994, Dynatronix bought back the minority interest of Kraftelektronik AB and changed the name back to Dynatronix, Inc.

Departments

• ENGINEERING: The Engineering Department employs 12 people in the design and manufacture of power supplies. They have extensive backgrounds in the development and application of microprocessors to the industrial control market.
  
  The engineering department has been organized into separate software and hardware groups. The experienced personnel are available for customer assistance and for training sessions.
  

  The engineering hardware group uses PRO/E CAD software for both electrical and mechanical design. Products can be quickly and economically designed to meet the customer's specific requirements.

  Other tools used include thermal modeling software to ensure that all designs function within specified temperature ranges and a Venable frequency response analyzer.

  All software and firmware used in the microprocessor controlled equipment are written and supported by our internal software engineers.

• PRODUCTION: The Production Department has 20 people who are directly involved with the electrical and mechanical assembly of the products, parts procurement, quality control, IT support and shipping & receiving. In addition to that 7 electronic technicians and 1 process engineer are working to test, calibrate and final inspect all products manufactured here at Dynatronix.
  
• CUSTOMER SERVICE: The Customer Service Department currently employs 4 people. Three that work with the day-to-day support of our customers, and one electronic technician who is available for onsite customer support and also helps out in the test department.
  
• SALES: The Sales Department currently employees a total of 7 people, with three salesmen and one sales assistant working at the factory in Amery, WI, with three other salesmen on staff, based in Florida, Arizona and California.
  
• GENERAL ADMINISTRATION: Rounding out the employee list are 4 individuals that work in the day to day financial world of the company.
